Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Production Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in Mechanical engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Creo and Windchill.
  • Strong understanding of chassis systems and interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of sheet‑metal design and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to manage and design large assemblies efficiently.
  • Excellent understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack‑up, and engineering drawing practices.
  • Experience in tool clearance, reliability, and ergonomic assessments.
  • Ability to collaborate with both local and global engineering teams

Job Description

  • Chassis frame and components layout development, including mounting systems, brackets, and interfaces.
  • Preparation of 3D CAD design and create detailed engineering drawings, including GD&T, BOM creation for vehicle frame.
  • Layout and packaging of various systems such as aftertreatment, fuel tank, battery pack, cooling etc.
  • Perform calculations related to clearances, envelopes and mass properties.
  • Work on large assemblies, including effective use of simplified representations.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams locally and globally to ensure design alignment and manufacturability.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of ICE & Electric Vehicle architecture and associated components.
  • Conduct technical reviews in collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues effectively.
  • Engage with customers and internal teams for technical discussions and alignment.
